If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that most of our world doesn’t handle grief well. Whether you’ve encountered blank stares, inappropriate or weird comments, people suddenly avoiding you after a loss, or even people telling you your loss wasn’t real or a big deal grief can be an incredibly isolating experience.
As a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist I feel intensely privileged to walk alongside folks as they navigate grief and loss. Grief does not have to be just limited to someone’s death- it can also be the grief associated with losing a relationship, marriage, job, identity, culture, etc. Whatever it is you’ve lost, I’m here to journey alongside you. In my office you have permission to stop holding it all together for a bit as we sort out what this loss means for you and how to move forward in a way that honors what or who you have lost.
